Return to Restricted Play Announcement

26th May 2020 by ewav129a

The EWLTC Management Committee is pleased to announce that return to restricted playing of tennis is scheduled for Monday 25th May.

The relevant documents are now available below:

  • Operating Rules
  • Guidance Summary
  • Risk Assessment
  • Court Booking
  • TeamUp Guide

As stated in the rules this is an initial trial period and all matters will be kept under review.

All documents are live and subject to change at short notice.

There is a separate booking calendar for the coaches and the marshals have access to all the calendars.

The information will also be available on the EWLTC WhatsApp where the courts can be also booked using the Team-up App.

If you are not able to book either using the web link or Team-up app you can put a request on the club WhatsApp and it will be picked up by us in the daily administration.

Initially, we have set the court bookings to try and safely give as many people as possible access to the courts with the assistance of marshal volunteers (thank you). This whilst standing -by our great coaching team and allowing them to recommence working in some form.

It has been a long and frustrating time for some and their eagerness to get back on the court has not gone unnoticed. However, we trust that you appreciate we are acting very cautiously with member and the general public safety our paramount concern.

We are part of East Wavertree and Childwall Community Association (EWCCA), in public view and confident all members will act responsibly.

More information will follow when it is available, in the meantime stay safe and enjoy your tennis 🙂

If you have any queries please contact a committee member or e-mail info@ewltc.co.uk

Thank you
